AnxietyResearch.org is an independent research and evidence publication focused on anxiety disorders, panic, treatment access, and mental health trends in the United States. The goal is to make research and public-health data on anxiety readable without turning it into individualized medical advice.

What we publish

  • Reports. Original briefs built from public datasets and peer-reviewed literature.
  • Statistics. Current prevalence, treatment access, and crisis-utilization figures with full source citations.
  • Evidence summaries. Plain-English reviews of what the research does and does not show for major anxiety treatments and conditions.
  • Treatment research. Synthesis of the current evidence base for therapy, medication, telepsychiatry, and combined care.
  • Methods. How sources are selected, how summaries are written, and what this site does not do.
  • Resources. Research databases, crisis lines, treatment locators, and related education sites.

Where AnxietyResearch.org fits in The Shrink Network

The Shrink Network is an independent mental health knowledge ecosystem built around one idea: mental health is too important to squeeze into one website. Each site has one job. Together, they help people understand, apply, and access care. No matter where you enter the network, we help you find the next step that makes sense. Your mind. Understood.

AnxietyResearch.org is the evidence and research-translation layer of that network. This site's one job is honest, plain-English summaries of what the peer-reviewed research, federal datasets, and clinical guidelines actually show about anxiety, panic, treatment, and access. It does not diagnose, does not sell a product, and does not accept advertising. When a reader's next question is practical, foundational, medication-specific, or clinical, we route them to the network property built for that job, rather than duplicating the work here.
