AI Use Policy
AnxietyResearch.org is a human-edited, physician-reviewed publication. This page explains where AI-assisted tools fit in our workflow and where they do not.
Network-wide statement
This website may use AI-assisted tools to support drafting, organization, summarization, grammar review, and editorial workflows. AI tools do not independently publish content. Medical content undergoes human review and editorial oversight before publication.
AI does not replace human review, medical judgment, diagnosis, or treatment decisions.
Where AI tools are used
The editorial team may use large language models and similar tools to:
- Draft and reorganize copy from human-selected sources
- Summarize long documents (such as systematic reviews or guideline texts) into structured notes for a human writer to verify
- Check grammar, tone, and reading level
- Generate alt text and structured-data scaffolding for accessibility and SEO
- Surface candidate citations that a human then verifies against the original source
Where AI tools are not used
The site does not publish:
- AI-generated images of people, AI-generated headshots represented as real people, or fabricated quotations
- Citations that have not been verified against the underlying source by a human editor
- Numeric claims, statistics, or clinical recommendations sourced solely to a language model
- Patient-facing diagnostic, prescriptive, or treatment recommendations of any kind
Human review and accountability
Every clinical page on this site is reviewed by the medical editor, a board-certified psychiatrist, for clinical accuracy. Editorial review verifies factual claims against cited sources. Accountability for what the site publishes rests with the human editorial team, not with any tool used during drafting. See the Editorial Policy and Medical Review Board for details.
What this site is not
AnxietyResearch.org is a research and reporting publication. It is not a clinical practice, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for personalized medical advice. Nothing on the site, AI-assisted or not, constitutes the practice of medicine. See the Medical Disclaimer.
